Brean Murray Carret & Co. maintains a 'Buy' on Xyratex (NASDAQ: XRTX) price target raised from $18 to $20.

Analyst, Ananda Baruah, said, "Strong Feb Qtr EPS as margins were stronger than anticipated with revenue a tad softer...Guidance is directly in-line with our expectations, although softer than Street - as such, we expect the stock to trade softer...XTRX again increased the dividend to $0.075 qtrly, $0.30 annually - and it stated it is committed to increasing the dividend until it settles in a 2-3%...High Performance Computing (HPC) should generate revenue in 2H12 and holds considerable promise - and we believe Gross Margins may be 20%+ (vs. mid-teens NSS GM currently and perhaps 2x those of XRTX's NetApp (Nasdaq: NTAP) business."
