Southside Bancshares, Inc. (SBSI) Raises Quarterly Cash Dividend 11.1% to $0.20; Approves 5% Stock Dividend

Southside Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBSI) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share, or $0.8 annualized. This is an 11.1% increase from the prior dividend of $0.18.

The dividend will be payable on May 9, 2012, to stockholders of record on April 18, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of April 16, 2012. The annual yield on the dividend is 3.6 percent.

Also, SBSI announces a 5% common stock dividend in addition to the cash payout.
