Endologix, Inc. (Nasdaq: ELGX), reports that after a highly successful and distinguished 15-year career with the Company, Franklin D. Brown has announced his decision to retire as Chairman of the Board at the end of his current term. John McDermott, Endologix's President and Chief Executive Officer, has been appointed to the additional position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. The transition will be effective on the date of the Company's annual shareholder's meeting on May 24, 2012.
Mr. Brown joined the Company in 1997 and served in several executive leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to 2003 and Chairman of the Board from 1998 to 2012.
