This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Arena Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ARNA) high of $3.47. Arena moving higher after reporting the FDA scheduled an Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee meeting to discuss the lorcaserin New Drug Application (NDA) resubmission on May 10, 2012.

    Shares are up 92 percent since March 19th, 2012.

  • Lennar (NYSE: LEN) high of $28.28. Lennar reports first-quarter sales of $724.9 million and earnings of 8 cents per share. The Street was looking for revs of $700 million and EPS of 4 cents per share. For more color, click here.

  • Affymax (Nasdaq: AFFY) high of $14.75. Affymax is currently halted, but moved sharply higher following reports it won FDA approval for Omontys. Omontys is an anemia-treatment competitor to Amgen's (Nasdaq: AMGN) Epogen.

    Affymax ripped 14.3 percent from $12.90 to $14.47 following the results. Shares are halted up 4.4 percent to $14.33.

  • Pfizer, Inc. (NYSE: PFE) high of $22.80. After moving between $21 and $22 for the duration of 2012, following a 29 percent gain in 2011, Goldman Sachs is making the case for a split of Pfizer's operations.

    Shares of Pfizer moved 2.9 percent on the session.
52-Week Low:
  • A123 Systems (Nasdaq: AONE) low of $1.27. A123 Systems still moving lower on reports it is launching a new $55 million battery buyback program for batteries produced at its Livonia, MI-based facility. For more color, click here. Shares are down another 14 percent to the new low Tuesday.
