Zhongpin Inc. (Nasdaq: HOGS) 28.6% HIGHER; has received a preliminary, non-binding proposal from its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Xianfu Zhu, which stated that Mr. Zhu intends to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the Company's common stock not currently owned by him in a going private transaction at a proposed price of $13.50 per share in cash.

Kingold Jewelry (NASDAQ: KGJI) 21.8% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.06, versus $0.12 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $168.4 million, versus $184.94 million reported last year.

McMoRan Exploration Co (NYSE: MMR) 15.1% LOWER; shares are getting hit early on, down about 14 percent for the session, on news related to its Davy Jones No. 1 well.

XOMA (Nasdaq: XOMA) 15.6% HIGHER; continuing higher following a breakout above the 200-day SMA yesterday. Shares were up more than 8 percent yesterday. Volume is extremely heavy this morning.

Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) 14.9% HIGHER; today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Walker Group Holdings LLC, a leading manufacturer of liquid-transportation systems and engineered products for $360 million.

A123 (Nasdaq: AONE) 11.4% LOWER; continuing lower following yesterdy'a snews the company launched a $55 million battery buyback program for defective units. Shares fell more than 12 percent yesterday.

Arena Pharma (Nasdaq: ARNA) 10.3% HIGHER; continuing higher following FDA briefing documents for the March 28th-29th meeting on CV risks to obesity drugs. Shares have rallied nearly 60 percent since the beginning of last week.

Molycorp (NYSE: MCP) 9.7% HIGHER; stocks in the rare earth material group are sharply higher early Tuesday following strong earnings from China's largest rare earths producer, Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Rare Earth Hi-Tech Co. (Hereafter: Baotou). Reports have Baotou's revenue jumping 119.3 percent to 11.53 billion yuan in 2011, with a 363 percent increase in earnings to 2.87 yuan per share.

Document Security Systems (NYSE: DSS) 9.7% LOWER; the stock has fallen almost everyday since report Q4 results on March 19th. Including today's decline, shares are down more than 25 percent over the last five trading sessions.

Galena Biopharma (Nasdaq: GALE) 9.5% LOWER; shares are down more than 35 percent since a report negative Seeking Alpha article.
