Gainers
- United States Oil Fund (NYSE: USO) up 1.41 percent to $40.70. Crude up on headlines Iran exports dropped by 300,000 barrels per day in March. May contracts are up $1.70 to $107.05 per barrel on the Comex.
- Rydex CurrencyShares Euro (NYSE: FXE) up 0.59 percent to $132.02. ECB head Mario Draghi said that the worst of the European crisis is over, adding positive sentiment to the currency Friday. Draghi made comments in German news source Bild.
- iPath S&P 500 VIX Short Term Fund (NYSE: VXX) down 6.08 percent to $17.45. The CBOE VIX is lower amid a delay in the Greek debt swap and bad housing data. Markets are mixed.
- SPDR Series Trust SPDR Homebuilers (NYSE: XHB) down 1.03 percent to $21.11. Being led lower by KB Home (NYSE: KBH), which reported a wider than expected first-quarter loss and revenue miss, not to mention a drop in new orders and increase in cancellation rate. For more color click here.
