Gamestop (GME) On Watch Ahead of Q4 Results, Death of European Rival

Traders are eyeing Gamestop (NYSE: GME) today ahead of Thursday's fourth quarter earnings and reports of the final nail in the coffin for European rival, Game Group.

Game Group suspended trading in its shares Wednesday after key suppliers withdrew support from the company. "The board now considers itself to be unable to assess the business's financial position, and is of the opinion that there is no equity value left in the group," the company said.

Shares of are 0.7 percent higher early Wednesday to $24.18.
