Jefferies maintains a 'Buy' on United Natural Foods (NASDAQ: UNFI) price target raised from $44 to $53.
Analyst, Scott A. Mushkin, said, "UNFI has grown to dominate natural/organic and specialty distribution over the past few years, in essence becoming the vital backbone of the slow-turning (but fast growing) natural/organic and specialty food-at-home vertical. Indeed, we believe the strong secular trends, along with UNFI’s growing dominance and coming technology upgrades throughout its distribution network will drive strong sales and EPS performance over the long term."
"We are increasing our estimates for 3Q12, FY12 and FY13 to $0.56, $1.93, and
$2.27 from $0.55, $1.90, and $2.19."
