Ultrapetrol (ULTR) Reports a Q4 Loss

Ultrapetrol (NASDAQ: ULTR) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.22) vs. the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter came in at $96.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $68.45 million.

The fourth quarter 2011 results include the effect of a $0.5 million gain for deferred taxes on an unrealized foreign exchange loss on U.S. dollar- denominated debt of our Brazilian subsidiary in our Offshore Supply Business3.
