UBS maintains a 'Buy' on Navistar International (NYSE: NAV) price target lowered fro $56 to $52.

UBS analyst said, "Despite the weaker than expected 1Q operational result, shares were only down 2% as investors were braced for a weak quarter (and resulting lower guidance). That said, we believe expectations were extremely low going into 1Q (and they are likely even lower now), and continue to see upside to NAV. Over the next few months, we see positive catalysts including near-term truck order improvement, EPA approval of NAV’s Tier 4 engine, and the Mid-America Trucking Show (held in Louisville from 3/21 to 3/24)."

"We are lowering FY12E EPS to $5.00 from $6.00 reflecting 1Q miss and 2013E & 2014E to $.6.25 & $6.75 from $7.25 & $7.75, respectively to reflect lower margins & base year."
