UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on Complete Genomic (NASDAQ: GNOM) price target raised $1 to $4.

UBS analyst says, "GNOM reported Q4 sales of $2.5M (-35% y/y; -41% q/q), just below UBSe $2.7M and Street $3.2M. The shipment of 600 genomes was in-line with pre-announced levels, and implies an ASP per genome of $4,200. Adj loss per share of $0.67 was below Street ($0.64) & UBSe ($0.52) due to higher R&D of $8M (UBSe $7M) and SG&A of $8.3M (UBSe $5M)."

"In our view, the stock now hangs on the ability to complete a big deal, and we expect volatility to remain high going forward. While we believe a large order will be booked in ’12, our model assumes such (our $34M rev forecast implies ~10k genomes), and visibility on timing is low. This, along with the risk associated with a rapidly changing competitive landscape and GNOM’s need to raise cash, keep us Neutral on shares." (UBS lowers FY12 EPS loss from (1.71) to (2.16) and FY13 from (1.29) to (1.70))
