Needham & Company maintains a 'Buy' on Western Digital Corp. (NYSE: WDC) price target of $50.00.

ANalyst, Richard Kugele, said, "While drawn-out and far more complicated than originally envisioned, the successful completion of WD’s acquisition of HGST represents one of the most significant events in the 55+ years of the HDD industry, in our view. We believe the inability to completely integrate HGST for at least two years reduces the near-term synergies, but does not detract from the long-term opportunities or the stable industry conditions likely to exist until the 2-year waiting period passes (and likely longer)."
