Goldman Sachs trimmed estimates and its price target on The Children's Place (NASDAQ: PLCE) from $51 to $47 following disappointing Q4 EPS of $0.87, versus the firm's estimate of $0.88 and the consensus of $0.91. The firm maintained their Neutral rating.
Although results were mostly disappointing, Goldman highlighted that some bright spots included solid inventory controls, and positive comments related to full price selling of new dressy assortments in February.
The firm cut 2012/2013 EPS estimates to $3.24/$3.79 versus $3.69/$4.25.
