Goldman Sachs Raises Numbers on Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) After Q4

Goldman Sachs raised estimates and bumped its price target on Buy-rated Dick's Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS) from $49 to $51 following Q4 result and outlook which points to a solid start to the year.

They said the underlying unit growth story remains intact, with mid-90% new space productivity on 7% core unit growth. Product vitality is also strong, citing ongoing growth in athletic apparel and footwear and improving golf trends. Goldman also said the online business has new vitality, with sales approach 6% of the total in Q4 with 52% year-over-year growth.

The firm raised FY12 EPS from $2.46 to $2.48, FY13 from $2.67 to $2.78. They also introduced FY14 EPS of $3.18.
