Keryx Biopharma (Nasdaq: KERX) 26% HIGHER; breaking out following a late article from Seeking Alpha on Friday. The piece is entitled "FDA Approval Practically A Done Deal For Keryx And ZEterna Zentaris".
TranS1 Inc. (Nasdaq: TSON) 25% HIGHER; announced today that the American Medical Association Current Procedural Terminology Panel has voted to approve an application for a Category I CPT code for L5-S1 spinal fusion utilizing TranS1's pre-sacral interbody fusion approach with its AxiaLIF implant. This coding change was recently disclosed on the AMA website and will become effective on January 1, 2013.
Archipelago Learning (Nasdaq: ARCL) 22.5% HIGHER; announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement under which PLATO Learning, a portfolio company of Thoma Bravo, LLC, will acquire Archipelago Learning for $11.10 per share in cash, representing an equity value of approximately $291 million.

Sees a loss of about $85 million. Sees FY11 sales of $159.1 million, vs. the consensus of $167.8 million. Sees a loss of $257.7 million. Shares are continuing lower today, potentially on news late Friday GM is expected to halt production of its Chevy Volt for several weeks.
Polypore Int'l (NYSE: PPO) 11.3% LOWER; continuing lower from Friday following reports that General Motors (NYSE: GM) will halt production of its Chevy Volt for five weeks. Stifel Nicolaus also issued a note on the news this morning, adding some pressure to shares. For more color, click here.
