Shares of CF Industries (NYSE: CF) are down more than 6 percent Monday morning following an earlier downgrade from Citi's PJ Juvekar. The analyst's investment rating moved from Buy to Neutral while a $194 price target was maintained. Juvekar also removed CF shares from Citi's "Top Picks Live" list.

The analyst believes CF's move to lock in gas costs for 65 percent of the company's 2012 needs at $3-$3.50/mmbtu could eventually be detrimental to results. Juvekar cites cautious dealers modeling for a dip in pricing during the summer months.

With CF shares last trading at $176.96, Citi's price target represents potential upside of nearly 10 percent.
