Jefferies maintains a 'Buy' on HEALTHSOUTH (NYSE: HLS) price target raised from $23 to $25.

Analyst, Arthur I. Henderson, said, "We believe HLS will continue to outperform Street expectations through disciplined operational and financial management. In addition, we believe concerns about potential Medicare IRF reimbursements cuts are overblown...FY12 EPS is expected to be $1.32-$1.39, which includes a 40% tax rate (up from 19% in 2011). Historically, management issues conservative guidance early in the year and raises it mid-year. We see no reason why this couldn't happen this year."

Henderson lowers FY12 EPS estimate from $1.40 to $1.36, establishes FY13 at $1.54.
