Sempra Energy (SRE) Raises Quarterly Dividend 25% to $0.60; 4.1% Yield

Sempra Energy (NYSE: SRE) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share, or $2.4 annualized. This is a 25% increase from the prior dividend of $0.48.

The dividend will be payable on April 15, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 26, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 22, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 4.1 percent.
