TD Newcrest downgraded Thompson Creek Metals (NYSE: TC) from Buy to Hold with a price target of C$9.00 following Q4 result and revised guidance to reflect higher capital cost estimates at Endako and Mount Milligan.
The firm comments, "Despite reporting better-than-expected earnings, we believe that the results will be largely overshadowed by the continued and significant increase in capex at Mount Milligan, and to a lesser extent at Endako."
The firm cut FY12 EPS estimates from $0.54 to $0.17.
