Valspar Corp. (VAL) Tops Q1 EPS by 14c, Raises FY12 EPS Guidance

Valspar Corp. (NYSE: VAL) reported Q1 EPS of $0.62, $0.14 better than the analyst estimate of $0.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $885.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $905.6 million.

Valspar Corp. sees FY2012 EPS of $2.92-$3.12, versus the consensus of $3.01.
