TransCanada (TRP) Raises Quarterly Dividend 4.7% to $0.44; 4.2% Yield

TransCanada (NYSE: TRP) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.44 per share, or $1.76 annualized. This is a 4.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.42.

The dividend will be payable on April 30, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 30, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 28, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 4.2 percent.
