Eastern Co. (EML) Raises Quarterly Dividend 11.1% to $0.10; 2.1% Yield
Eastern Co. (NASDAQ: EML) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share, or $0.4 annualized. This is an 11.1% increase from the prior dividend of $0.09.
The dividend will be payable on March 15, 2012, to stockholders of record on February 22, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of February 17, 2012.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.1 percent.
Mr. Leganza Chairman, President and CEO stated “The increased dividend reflects our positive and continued confidence in the strengths of the markets we serve and the financial strength of our Company. As we recover from the slow down in the economy, we would like to share the results of that confidence with our shareholders.”
