L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc. (LLL) Raises Quarterly Dividend 11.1% to $0.50; 2.8% Yield

L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: LLL) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share, or $2 annualized. This is an 11.1% increase from the prior dividend of $0.45.

The dividend will be payable on March 15, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 1, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of February 28, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.8 percent.

“Our continued emphasis on program execution, operational efficiency and disciplined cash deployment has enabled us to return this value to shareholders,” said Michael T. Strianese, L-3’s chairman, president and chief executive officer. “Delivering value is our long-standing strategy, and we are pleased to increase the yield and affirm our outlook for L-3’s continued solid performance in this challenging environment.”
