This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Coinstar, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSTR) high of $60.81. Coinstar moving higher following fourth-quarter numbers. Earnings were $1.00 per share on revenue of $520.5 million, versus consensus views calling for earnings of 64 cents per share and revenue of $498.1 million.

    Looking ahead, Coinstar issued an outlook expecting first-quarter EPS of 76 cents to 91 cents and revs of $530 million to $555 million, versus views expecing EPS of 86 cents and sales of $514.5 million. For fiscal 2012, Coinstar is modeling EPS of $3.80 - $4.30 on sales of $2.08 billion to $2.25 billion. The Street is currently expecting EPS of $3.86 on sales of $2.17 billion.

  • Standard Pacific Corp (NYSE: SPF) high of $4.85. Standard Pacific reported fourth-quarter earnings of 4 cents per share and revenue of $293.2 million, versus views calling for EPS of 2 cents and revs of $275.2 million.

  • Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) high of $65.79. Yum! reported fourth-quarter sales of $4.11 billion and earnings of 75 cents, beating vuews expecting EPS of 74 cents and revs of $4.03 billion. Shares moved 4.1 percent on the session.

  • NCR Corp. (NYSE: NCR) high of $21.37. Another earnings mover as NCR reported fourth-quarter EPS of 65 cents and revs of $1.64 billion, compared with views calling for EPS of 56 cents and revs of $1.58 billion. For 2012, the Company sees EPS of $2.36 to $2.43, topping expectations of $2.18.
52-Week Low:
  • TBS International plc (Nasdaq: TBSI) low of $0.1250. TBS hit after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. From the SEC filing: TBS "has reached an agreement with its lenders on the terms of a comprehensive debt restructuring. The proposed plan will restructure the Company's secured debt and pay in full allowed claims of unsecured creditors, to align the Company's operations and capital structure with the current and expected demand in the global markets. To implement the restructuring, the Company and its subsidiaries negotiated and received affirmative votes from all voting lenders to accept a pre-packaged chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization that was filed today with the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York."
