Needham & Company maintains a 'Hold' on Multi-Fineline (NASDAQ: MFLX).

Analyst, Richard Kugele, said, "As evidenced by the company’s pre-announcement in January and last night’s solid F2Q/F2H guidance, MFLX recovered much faster than we expected from the component shortages in Thailand. Combined with some level of competitive share gains and a robust market for smartphones and tablets, the company is on track for a much stronger balance of the year. That said, we clearly missed our opportunity in the near-term to upgrade. Until we can gain comfort with higher F13 estimates to justify a larger multiple/target (or the stock pulls back) we must maintain our Hold."

Kugele raises FY12 EPS estimate from $1.65 to $1.77, but slashes FY13 from $2.25 to $1.88.
