Preferred Apartment Communities (APTS) Raises Quarterly Dividend 4% to $0.13; 8.5% Yield

Preferred Apartment Communities (NYSE: APTS) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.13 per share, or $0.52 annualized. This is a 4% increase from the prior dividend of $0.125.

The dividend will be payable on April 16, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 30, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 28, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 8.5 percent.
