New York Times Co. (NYSE: NYT) reported Q4 EPS of $0.45, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $643 million versus the consensus estimate of $646.39 million..

Total advertising revenue trends in the first quarter of 2012 are expected to be similar to the level experienced in the fourth quarter of 2011.
