Big Lots, Inc. (NYSE: BIG) reports total sales for the fourth-quarter were $1.62 billion, up 7.7 percent from the same period last year. Same-store sales rose 3.4 percent.
Boosts Q4 EPS from $1.59 - $1.66 to $1.71 - $1.74. The Street sees $1.63.
Big Lots now expect earnings of $2.94 - $2.97 per diluted share from continuing operations for fiscal 2011, versus $2.87 expected by the Street.
