NIKE, Inc. (NKE) Names Bert Hoyt as VP & GM of Western Europe

NIKE, Inc. (NYSE: NKE) announced Bert Hoyt will become the Vice President and GM of Western Europe, one of Nike’s six divisional geographies. Hoyt will replace Brent Scrimshaw, 44, who after 18 years at Nike has decided to retire and return to his native Australia with his family.
Hoyt, 56, has been with Nike for more than a decade in a variety of senior management roles including Vice President of Commerce for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). He was most recently Nike’s Vice President and General Manager of Global Football and helped lead the company’s successful efforts for the 2010 World Cup. He will report to Gary DeStefano, Nike’s President of Global Operations.
