Covidien (NYSE: COV) reported Q4 EPS of $1.13, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $1.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.92 billion.
On an operational basis, excluding the impact of foreign exchange, Covidien now estimates that total Company sales in FY12 will increase 3% to 5% in fiscal 2012, about one percentage point above its prior guidance.
