Jefferies Cuts Numbers On Stryker (SYK) After Q4 Results

Jefferies trimmed estimates and their price target on Stryker (NYSE: SYK) from $56 to $54 following Q4 results and maintained a Hold rating.

The firm comments, "SYK reported 4Q results in line with the January 10 preannouncement. Continued sluggishness in Recon volumes are keeping sales growth in check and the outlook for 2012 remains lukewarm (we model 4.6% underlying growth). While double-digit EPS growth looks achievable for 2012 and 2013, the shares appear fairly valued; as such, we maintain our Hold rating"

The firm cut Q1 EPS from $1.00 to $0.99, FY12 from $4.13 to $4.11 and FY13 from $4.64 to $4.50.
