WellPoint, Inc. (WLP) Raises Quarterly Dividend 15% to $0.2875; Yields 1.7%

WellPoint, Inc. (NYSE: WLP) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.2875 per share, or $1.15 annualized. This is a 15% increase from the prior dividend of $0.25.

The dividend will be payable on March 23, 2012, to stockholders of record on March 9, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of March 7, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.7 percent.
