Norfolk Southern Corp. (NSC) Raises Quarterly Dividend 9.3% to $0.47; 2.5% Yield

Norfolk Southern Corp. (NYSE: NSC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.47 per share, or $1.88 annualized. This is a 9.3% increase from the prior dividend of $0.43.

The dividend will be payable on March 10, 2012, to stockholders of record on February 3, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of February 1, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.5 percent.
