Canaccord Genuity maintains a 'Buy' on Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) price target lowered from $46 to $43.
Analyst, Scott Burk, said, "For the first time in at least two years, HAL beat expectations based on better international results (driven by Q4 sales) instead of improved NAm margins. We are lowering 2012/13 estimates primarily due to reduced NAm margin assumptions and our target based on 11x 2012E EPS, but HAL remains significantly cheaper than historical averages or compared to SLB. Better international results than last cycle could lead to improved valuation multiples, especially relative to Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB)."
