UBS maintains a 'Buy' on Mattress Firm Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: MFRM) price target raised from $28 to $30.
UBS analyst says, "MFRM is a compelling idea with unit growth and solid industry trends: One would think that after MFRM has run high teens comp growth for the last few quarters, the co would have regained all the store productivity that it lost during recession. That is not the case. MFRM is on pace to achieve ~$1.0mm in sales per store this year, below the $1.3mm - $1.4mm it generated prior to the downturn. We believe retracing this level is entirely achievable as it further consolidates the market."
Other highlighted points include: 1) Mall locations could augment MFRM’s expansion opportunity; and 2) Bias to the upside for the company’s margin outlook.
