Morning Movers 01/12: (BDSI) (MFLX) (BWEN) Higher; (EK) (BGFV) (WSM) (INFY) Lower

BioDelivery Services (Nasdaq: BDSI) 25.1% HIGHER; continuing higher today after crossing above the 200-day early yesterday. Notably, shares surged 120 percent on Friday following a deal for buprenorphine.

Multi-Fineline Electronix, Inc. (Nasdaq: MFLX) 17.5% HIGHER; sees first-quarter sales of about $239 million, versus $215.2 million expected on the Street. During the fiscal 2012 first quarter, the Company expects customers A, C and D to represent approximately 5 percent, 66 percent and 27 percent, respectively, of net sales. For competitive and customer confidentiality reasons, the Company does not disclose its customers by name.

Broadwind Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: BWEN) 16.2% HIGHER; amid news of a $23 million order for wind turbine towers earlier, shares have bounced sharply away from the 200-day. Volume spiked as the price pushed above this level.

Eastman Kodak (NYSE: EK) 15.3% LOWER; correcting today following a 91 percent surge over the first three trading days of this week. The stock fell about 50 percent over the first week of trading in 2011.

Big5 (Nasdaq: BGFV) 13.9% LOWER; reported Q4 comps fell 2.1 percent on sales of $226.7 million. Sees GAAP EPS 2-5 cents, down from prior guidance of 12-14 cents. Sees FY11 sales of $902.1M and GAAP EPS 55-58c. Click here to see the full report.

Radian (NYSE: RDN) 12.8% HIGHER; continuing to hold over support at $2. Shares are up more than 5 percent after testing this technical level.

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE: WSM) 12.6% LOWER; reports total sales for holiday 2011 were $901 million, up 4.2 percent from the same period last year. Same-store sales fell 0.3 percent. The company projects Q4 11 diluted earnings per share to be in the range of $1.10 to $1.15 which is at or marginally below the low end of the previous guidance range of $1.15 to $1.20 due to the promotional environment during the holiday season. The Street sees earnings of $1.19 per share. The Williams-Sonoma Board of Directors has authorized a new $225 million stock repurchase program to be completed in fiscal 2012.

Dick's (NYSE: DKS) 10.3% HIGHER; announces $200 million buyback program. Narrows its Q4 EPS guidance range from 87-89 cents to 87-88 cents, vs. the consensus of 87 cents. Sees FY11 EPS $2.01-$2.02, which compares to the Street estimate of $2.02. The company had previously expected FY11 EPS of $2.01-$2.03.

Infosys Technologies Ltd (NASDAQ: INFY) 9.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.80, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.81 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.81 billion. Sees Q4 2012 EPS of $0.81, versus the consensus of $0.84. Infosys sees Q4 2012 revenue of $1.806-$1.810 billion, versus the consensus of $1.88 billion. Sees FY2012 EPS of $3.00, versus the consensus of $2.99. Also sees FY2012 revenue of $7.029-$7.033 billion, versus the consensus of $7.07 billion.

Synutra International, Inc. (Nasdaq: SYUT) 9.2% LOWER; has issued a statement in response to local Chinese media reports of a pair of 4-month old twins in Jiangxi province who became ill with severe intestinal symptoms. One passed away from dehydration on January 7, 2012. The other has recovered following hospitalization. Both children were reported to have been consuming Synutra powdered milk formula products for weeks before the sudden onset of their illnesses.
