Goldman Sachs downgraded Emerson (NYSE: EMR) from Buy to Neutral with a price target of $54 citing a lack of near-term catalysts.

Despite an above-average dividend yield, strong free cash flow, low sentiment and 2011 underperformance, "EMR shares may struggle to outperform until a resumption of estimate revision momentum re-emerges, which could take several quarters."
