Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) price target of $32.00.

Nomura analyst, Rick Sherlund, said, "Microsoft and Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) demonstrated first-generation Ultrabooks in their events on Monday, leading up to the kick-off of CES on Tuesday in Las Vegas. Intel indicated that it expects 30-50 Ultrabooks to be out by this week, with over 75 Ultrabook designs underway. Intel seemed to imply that Ultrabook Touch devices might be introduced with Windows 7 even before the launch of Windows 8, which is sub-optimal, but might help bridge a product transition. We maintain our Buy rating and continue to like the stock at 8x calendar 2012E earnings ex-cash. We are buyers ahead of what we see as an inflection point in the stock’s sentiment."
