Canaccord Genuity reiterates a 'Buy' on Anthera Pharma (NASDAQ: ANTH) price target of $13.00.

Canaccord analyst, Ritu Baral, said, "ANTH takeaways from last night’s JP Morgan healthcare panel: PEARL-SC trial design successfully addresses some challenges of lupus drug development. We believe PEARL-SC addresses the challenges of predicting treatment responders and steroid sparing. Other blisibimod discussion focused on the difficulty developing clinically meaningful endpoints for lupus trials. Varespladib discussion focused on its anti-inflammatory properties (a differentiator from other ACS drugs) and potential benefit following short-term, post-event use."
