Ford's (F) CFO Booth to Step Down, Clear Way for Mulally Successor

Ford (NYSE: F) shares ended Monday's session about 0.8 percent better following late-day reports from Bloomberg the company's Chief Financial Officer, Lewis Booth, would be leaving soon.
Booth will aim to exit Ford in the first half of 2012 in an effort to clear the way for CEO Alan Mulally's expected retirement at the end of 2013.
Mulally will be able to appoint another number two in place of Booth. The leading candidate right now is Mark Fields, current leader of Ford's North and South American operations.
