Advent Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADVS) today announced its Board of Directors has appointed Advent's President Peter Hess to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President, effective June 30, 2012. He will succeed Stephanie DiMarco, Advent's founder and CEO, who is stepping down as CEO at the end of June 2012 but will continue to serve as a Director on Advent's Board and will be transitioning to an advisory role for the company's senior management.
