FBR & Co's (Nasdaq: FBRC) accepted for purchase 4,682 shares of its common stock at a purchase price of $2.00 per share. FBR is purchasing the shares at a total cost of $9,364.00.
FBR expects to have approximately 54,883,711 shares of its common stock outstanding immediately following consummation of the tender offer.
The modified "Dutch auction" tender offer was to purchase up to five million shares at a price between $1.80 and $2.00 per share and it expired at 12:00 midnight, New York City time on December 28, 2011.
