Upside in shares of SandRidge (NYSE: SD) being attributed to news Repsol YPF (OTC: REPYY) will invest $1 billion to buy a 1,500 sq. km. gas and light oil in the US.
Repsol will immediately pay $250 million in cash and the rest over the next three years. The sites are in the Mississippi Lime area in Kansas and Oklahoma.
