WCA Waste Corporation (Nasdaq: WCAA) 29% HIGHER; has entered into an agreement and plan of merger with Macquarie Infrastructure Partners II. Under the terms of the agreement, MIP II will acquire all of the outstanding common stock of WCA for $6.50 per share in cash, redeem all Series A preferred stock and either partially or completely refinance WCA's existing credit facilities.

VIVUS, Inc. (Nasdaq: VVUS) 10.3% HIGHER; today announced topline preliminary results from its retrospective study of medical claims data on oral clefts (OC) associated with topiramate exposure in utero. Click here to see the full report.

Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBBY) 4.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.95, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.34 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.35 billion. Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. sees Q4 2011 EPS of $1.28-$1.33, versus the consensus of $1.30. Sees FY EPS up about 26-28%, vs. prior guidance of up 22-25%.

Finish Line (NASDAQ: FINL) 2% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.11, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $282 million versus the consensus estimate of $272.87 million. Comps up 7.7%.

Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MU) 1.5% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.19), $0.12 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.14 billion.

Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) 1% HIGHER; continuing higher after hours following some late day reports from both Dealbook and the WSJ suggesting the Board may be leaning toward reducing or selling out of stakes in Alibaba and Yahoo! Japan. Click here to see the full report.

Tibco Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) 1% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.42, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $289.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $281.28 million. Sees EPS of 18-19 cents on sales of $220-$225 million. The Street is currently looking for Q1 EPS of 19 cents on sales of $215.76 million. Sees non-GAAP gross margin of 20-21%.
