Tower Operators Are Winners From AT&T's (T) Dropped Bid for T Mobile (AMT) (CCI) (SBAC)

Analysts at Jefferies said tower operators will be seen as winners from
AT&T'S (NYSE: T) dropped bid for T Mobile USA.

"We believe the tower companies -- (NYSE: AMT), (NYSE: CCI), and (Nasdaq: SBAC) -- will all rally on the prospect of the US national wireless market not contracting to three players from four," the analysts said.

Additionally, "prospects of a deep pocketed ultimately providing business/funding to some of the entities with alternative sources of spectrum have risen," they said. This could lead to faster leasing activity in the medium term.

American Tower and Crown Castle International are both indicated to open 1 percent higher and SBA Communications is trading up 2 percent in pre-open trading Tuesday.
