Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) might be getting "Net-investigated" by the SEC, according to one website.
Disclosure Insight -- a leading publication on whether or not corporations are performing proper disclosure on material topics to investors through the submission of various Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests -- the SEC might be investigating Netflix, though the specific reason wasn't disclosed.
Some speculate that the investigation might surround certain accounting practices. Heck, Netflix might also be under investigation for undisclosed negotiation practices, or selling of customer information for all we know.
Blog Zerohedge first pointed out the SEC worry today, citing the Disclosure Insight note from Dec. 5.
Either way, Netflix is slumping again today, down over 2 percent early.
