UPDATE - UBS downgraded Silicon Labs (NASDAQ: SLAB) from Buy to Neutral. PT maintained at $43.

UBS analyst says, "We downgrade Silicon Labs to Neutral from Buy for the following 3 reasons: 1) c.40% exposure to Consumer, mainly through audio/TV tuners, where aggressive end market pricing could push back on suppliers, 2) Broad-based segment is likely to see limited upside, as timing products for the optical market are unlikely to grow through 1Q, microcontroller price competition is increasing and touch penetration may be limited, 3) Valuation – the stock is trading at a slight premium to its past 5-year 21x NTM P/E avg, while macro risks are currently biased to the
downside."

"Potential to be acquired is a key risk to downgrade: Given Silicon Lab’s unique capabilities and growth outlook, we view it as a potential acquisition
candidate; however, the eclectic nature of its target applications/customer base may limit the list of potential suitors."
