Equity Residential (EQR) Raises Quarterly Dividend 68.1% to $0.5675; 4.2% Yield

Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.5675 per share, or $2.27 annualized. This is a 68.1% increase from the prior dividend of $0.3375. This also represents a 7.5% increase year over year.

The dividend will be payable on January 13, 2012, to stockholders of record on December 19, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of December 15, 2011.

The annual yield on the dividend is 4.2 percent.
