Notable 52-Week Highs and Lows of the Day 11/30: (HD) (KOG) (FTI) High; (NFLX) (SFLY) (OVTI) Low

This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE: HD) high of $39.79. Home Depot actually just moving 2.1 percent higher on the session to its new mark, as data today shows that pending home sales rose 10.4 percent in November, reversing a a 4.6 percent slide in October, and beat the 2 percent rise expected by economists.

  • Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. (NYSE: KOG) high of $9.08. Kodak has moved 150 percent higher from a low of $3.59 at the start of October, as fuel prices have continued to gain. Wells Fargo also issued some comments today, while keeping an Outperform rating and boosting the low-end of its target range from $10 to $13 to a range of $11 to $13.

  • FMC Technologies, Inc (NYSE : FTI) high of $52.70. FMC moving 6.5 percent better on the session, after announcing that its Australian subsidiary has signed an agreement with Chevron Australia Pty Ltd for the design, manufacture and supply of subsea production systems to support the Wheatstone Project. The contract has an approximate value of $325 million in revenue to FMC Technologies.

  • Altria Group Inc. (NYSE: MO) high of $28.57. Altria moving 2.2 percent on overall market exuberance to its new high. Like yesterday, Altria's big tobacco peer Philip Morris (NYSE: PM) is also hitting a ceiling, at $76.40.
52-Week Low:
  • Netflix, Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX) low of $62.37. Netflix dropping 7.7 percent on a day when markets are surging higher, as analyst firm Wedbush downgraded Netflix from Neutral to Underperform, with its price target maintained at $45. Netflix is at levels not seen since early 2010, and certainly off of the $304.79 all-time high recorded in July.

  • Shutterfly, Inc. (Nasdaq: SFLY) low of $26.93. Originally saw some selling below the $37.50, and each $2.50 mark brings more downside for Shutterfly. Volume has been overall heavy since getting below $37.50 though.

  • OmniVision Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: OVTI) low of $10.15. OmniVision reported decent second-quarter results, but it's third-quarter outlook came in below views. The company sees third-quarter earnings of 5 to 17 cents per share and revenue of $160 to $180 million,, versus consensus views calling for earnings of 26 cents per share and revenue of $201.4 million.
