Shares of Mylan (NYSE: MYL) and Watson Pharma (NYSE: WPI) are moving in opposite directions this afternoon following intraday calls from an analyst at Morgan Stanley.

An analyst at the firm upgraded shares of Mylan while at the same time downgrading shares of Watson Pharma. Morgan Stanley now rates Mylan shares an Overweight, up from Equalweight previously, and shares of Watson an Equalweight, down from a prior Overweight rating.

Mylan shares are up 4.3 percent to $19.29 at last check; shares of Watson are down 3.9 percent to $64.70.

The Morgan Stanley call follows Watson's launch of generic lipitor Wednesday morning.
